This is a video I put together on my hometown of Salamanca, NY (USA) for my highschool alumni website (Salamanca-Alumni.com). Just a few parts of town to show the people that no longer live in the area.
The video was filmed on the morning of June 23, 2005. I happened to be in town that weekend to attend and film a wedding for a friend. I drove around town and filmed for about two hours, although I could have easily spent about two days. Because of time constraints I quickly moved from one place to another to get the shots I wanted or at the very least areas most familiar to me. I was not able to get to shoot any of West Salamanca, where there has been extreme growth around the new casino. The video has three parts, Around Town, Vets Park and the High School.

aww man thats a long time! idk what the town looked like then but one tip for you, the roads, they're horrid! i have lived here for almosrt 10 years. I'm from Randolph

Wow. I live here and go to the school. Sally High looks nothing like that anymore. Lot's of building projects! The walls and everything are different.

I sure miss the ole town, left in 73 but still visit from time to time. Alot has changed, I hope it makes a comeback with the casino's help. It will always be my home. Great job!!

Nice video. Brought back many memories. I was born, and spent most of my childhood, in Salamanca. Over all, the appearance of the town hasn't changed that much in the last 50 years. Thanks!
