H&M entered the Japanese market in September 2008. Two months later and shoppers are still queuing over 2 hours to check out their range.

The Swedish clothing chain opened their first store in Tokyo's classy Ginza district and plan to open a further two stores in Tokyo over the next 12 months. Founded in 1947, H&M has about 1,600 stores in 30 countries around the world, mainly in Europe.

  • The people in Japan have a lot of time :D :D omg that´s really amanzing :D

  • h & m is cool, i think that this store got different clothes in each continent. i don't think that we have the same cool asian stuff at my place like in japan :(

  • yea H&M clothes are only ok. not really my style. altho i do think that the style is kind of asian style especially the conservative or girly conservative like in korea or japan. also maybe it's a foreign brand/store so they want to see how it is.

  • H&M aint that special! XD

  • Huge line! They must be very patient.
