the deathmetal and blackmetal music genre's, were officially created in 1988, there are two albums, that are said to have inspired the deathmetal and blackmetal genre's, and those two cd's, are reign in blood, by slayer, and pleasure to kill, by kreator.
as Thrash metal in the 80's got more brutal, they gave the more brutal counding thrash metal a name of "death metal"
