  • John Stewart wrote "Daydream Believer." Neil Diamond wrote "I'm A Believer." The Monkees did probably the best-known versions of both songs.

  • I heard this one on the radio the other day, it brought back neat memories of my dad, he listened to Anne Murray alot.

  • i love you Anne Murray! you make everything ok

  • She truly lifts my spirits when I hear you singing this song. I heard it when the Monkees sang it so you know I am old.

  • @lonestarduffer Sorry but John Stewart debuted this song in 1967 at the Lion's Share, a pub, in Sausalito, Calif. If you feel the passage of time at 38, well, try having been there when the song was performed in public for the very first time.

  • No, it was written by the late, John Stewart, formerly of the Kingston Trio.

  • @DeputyDawn No, it was the late John Stewart, formerly of the Kingston Trio.

  • Didn't Neil Diamond write this song?

  • It makes me remember good old times in 1976, and you TODD!

  • I remember hearing this on the radio as Mom drove me to school back in 1980; Amazing how a melody can bring back so many memories from my youth; I was only seven at the time, a first grader. Seems like only yesterday, and now I'm 38.
