  • grazie per questo video , tank you.

  • A beautiful artist that studied every song to be genuine and sincere. He taught us how to communicate with others that do not speak the same language as we, throu.gh the use of his melodic voice.

  • This and the first Carnegie Hall album Belafonte are landmarks. It doesn't get better than this. I grew up with this album. My mother liked him as a folk singer. Born in 1951, this was as important as the Beatles and 60s music.

  • Are there any video recordings of this?

  • @61oceanblue:haha, ME TOO!! Being born in '63, for me it was about the first music I heard (and very much appreciated). One of my (late) father's best LP's (--> at that time lol). mmmhh.....memory lane.

@brendandawna: thanks very much for posting! Bye from Sander from Amsterdam

  • Is it a original folk song, before the later american adaptations?

  • Superb!!

  • Good job !! Love Hary !

  • This must be an entirely different composition. Many people know the recordings by the late Ritchie Valens and Los Lobos(their version is from 1987 movie soundtrack of the same title starring Lou Diamond Phillips).

  • Great and warm voice , thanks for the upload
