It sounds like something you would hear in the royal courts in India. I know that Allahudin Khan use to lead a orchestra of Indian instruments. Is the music composed by Allahudin Khan?

You don't really compose Ragas. Ravi Shankar came up with some more Ragas, but you compose a Raga as you play it. And you don't write it down, or ever try to remember the exact notes.

That would defeat the point. Western music is civilized in a manic, obsessive, over-controlling kind of way. With this music, you let go of that.
