  • hey i just bought this charger and cant figure it out i need help charging NIMH batterys i have 3800 mAh and dont know what amp to charge them at

    thanks

  • for charging nimh, you just need automatic mode since you dont need to care about nimh ...

  • hi, can you charge a 1500mah lipo battery at 5.0a? if no, then what is the max amount of amps you can charge it at. how long do you think it will take?

  • for 1C charge rate 1500mah lipo pack means charge with 1.5A, about 1 hour to complete, for 2C charge rate mean 3A, about 30 minutes to complete.

if you charge with 5A it is more than 3C charge rate, can be finished within 30 minutes, please make sure your lipo pack is capable for 3C charge rate.

i used to charge with 2C, it took around 25 minutes to complete, my pack stay healthy ...

  • @quantifly how do you find out how much the max amount of "c" you can charge at. the battery i have is a 10c 1500mah li-po battery and the other is 20c 2200mah li-po. plz tell me how much i can charge these batteries at with them being safe.

    Thanks 4 ur help

    Rav

  • unless the charge rate is suggested by lipo manufacturer, some known brand name will tell you can charge at 3C ! for china made unknown brand i used to charge at 2C and it can be completed around 30 minutes ...

  • Is it still running fine? for 35 bucks just wnated to check reliability :)

  • @quantifly Tejera company sells balancers that do operate stand-alone. The charger only needs to keep the voltage acceptable then.

  • never charging lipos not balanced!

  • dude that music got to go

  • @quantifly ohk, i will check the battery. Thanks alot 4 ur help :)
