Parade and rodeo is fun but try enjoying the midway at night..you cant. If you go at night its people drunk and fighting.

Calgary is the largest city in Alberta, and the around the 4th or 5th largest city in Canada (due to it's success in the oil and gas industry). A million people doesn't compare to some of the worlds larger cities. But that's definitely not 'small'

I've lived in Calgary for near 14 years and never once attended a Stampede Parade,but mostly just because I was always working when they were going on.Not only that,I'd have to get up so early just to go downtown and make sure I had a decent enough spot as well even when I had the chance to go.

@lukesmall1 I personally hate living in Calgary. The snow removal system is really shitty, environmental protection is the same quality, and it's the most conservative city in Canada. Good luck if you're liberal, NDP, or Green party. I'm a lesbian, left-wing environmentalist. Guess how much I want to get out of here?
