Have you investigate a car winshield? My SUV back glass shattered without warning. I don't know if heat temperature can break a tempered glass. Nice demo.

Question, if tempered glass is weak on the edges, how safe are the CRL 18" Black Powder Paint Round PP65 SlimLine Series Counter/Partition Left End Posts that hold them only on the edges?
