@aspiemamausa Before you were diagnosed, did anyone see anything "wrong" with you?

Thanks for sharing.

you look younger than 32! cute!

Guys stop self-diagnosing yourselves aspie. I dunno why it has become so trendy these days! Most of you got low self-esteem.
-
wow you are so lucky to live in a ski resort!

I would love to connect! I am 32, diagnosed a year or so ago and my 6 year old daughter was diagnosed 5 days ago. :)

32? You look like a young teen. I have AS too; people think I am 16 but I am actual 23. I wonder if there is a connection.

Hi aspiemamausa, I like writing too, we should talk about writing techniques sometime.
yes, I'm on the ASD spectrum.

Thank you! I'll take the next step and try to get diagnosed. I feel relieved, not upset to find out why I'm so "alien".
I am a self-diagnosed aspie. I'm wondering whether I should get an official diagnosis? I fit most of the criteria for AS. I am a 31 year old woman with a small child. She's almost two and so far she seems to be an NT.

I say that Knowledge is power. Find a psychologist who understands aspergers in women. It just tied up many "loose knots" with me.

You had diagnose with Asperger syndrome last year but have you always have asperger syndrome? Or you just developped that recently?

Hi Angel. Asperger's is a birth to death syndrome. Many of us who were diagnosed as adults lived in a world where Asperger's wasn't really known enough about. Now, the focus is on getting kids help. We will be seeing alot of adults realizing that they have lived with it their entire life.

Thanks nothingunusual and robenel! It is a work in progress. I attribute most of my positivity to my faith and God. This is the only thing that gets me through. By the way...
I got really busy and not in the mood to record in my video diary...but more tomorrow night as I am going to Seattle. Look for me then! : )
