I reckon Linden Station is the best station to take these typrs of train videos. The curved south bound platform makes the magic !

As I understand it, "E" = "electric', and "O" = Otira, in other words, these locomotives were once used in the Otira tunnel. I read somewhere that the original EOs were replaced in 1969 with EAs but the EO label stuck.......
