  • @EvanRavitz Some of the quality loss comes from converting to Apple format and the max with iPad is 720p. I might make a new one using Microsoft MovieMaker when I get back from Costa Rica. Of course I'll have a new movie to edit from that adventure! As for weight, it's not only weight but footprint as well. This little gem fits nicely in a gel pocket on my camelbak or a handheld bottle.

  • Interesting. Your camera has 1080p video, but I guess the lens limits the quality. The 720p video of my Panasonic LX5 is way better -but the camera weighs double what yours does. Yes, I've been using Microsoft MovieMaker which comes with Windows.

  • @EvanRavitz @EvanRavitz Hi Evan: Canon Powershot Elph 300HS 12.1MP. For editing software I used iMovie on my iPad. I don't really like it though. It was a hassle converting the files from my camera to Apple format. I had to buy a program to do it. iMovie is not that great for editing. I couldn't figure out how to add my own music, so I had to use their cheezy tune. Microsoft has a better program that comes with Windows.

  • What camera and editing software did you use?
