Marko Panzic Biography
Marko Panzic is truly an amazing choreographer whose classes are not to be missed. Having moved to Sydney from Perth, Marko has quickly become known for his eclectic style, which has evolved from his intense training in New York, Los Angeles and London.
In 2008 Marko hit our TV screens in the 1st series of "So You Think You Can Dance Australia" where he was a top 20 contestant. In 2009/2010 Marko returned for the 2nd and 3rd series as a featured choreographer.
As a performer Marko has worked with many of the finest recording artists including DJ Havana Brown, Ricki-Lee, Jessica Mauboy, Wynter Gordon, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Jade MacRae, Che'nelle (Virgin Records NYC), Samantha Jade (Jive Records USA), The McClymonts (Universal Music Australia) , Anthony Callea, Girlband, Cosima DeVito, Toby Allen, Vanessa Amorosi, Paulini, David Campbell, Elen Levon, Prinnie Stevens and Chris Sorbello.
Marko is the director of his own very successful production company "MP Productions" and is constantly busy choreographing event entertainment, his past clients include Rimmel Cosmetics, Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics, ABC, Blackberry, Cramercolor Hair Show, Perth Convention Centre, ABC3 Launch, Wella Hair Show, A to Z Eurovision TV Special SBS, Rachael Hunters Swimwear Launch, SleazeBall 2009, AIMIA Awards, Mercedes Benz, Optus, Chinese Chambers Of Commerce and many more.
Marko's performance credits also include; Australian Idol Grand Final, The Logies, X Factor, Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, Disney Channel, Saturday Disney Channel 7, Urban Music Awards, Aria Awards 2009, Channel V, Sunrise Channel 7, NOVA, WHO Magazine Launch, Bindi Irwin 10th Birthday Australia Zoo, NRL Footy Show Grand Final, "Short, Sweet & Dance","Carnival" Choreographers Ball, Ausdance WA Dance Awards, Dreamball 2008, Kirin Japanese Beer TVC, World Latin Ballroom Championships 2008, Panasonic Launch, Tony & Guy Launch, Australian Idol TVC 2009, ABC3 Launch 2009 and various corporate engagements across Australia.
Marko had the pleasure to work with The Australian Choreographic Centres production of "Unspeakable" which performed at the playhouse theatre in Canberra August 2007 with Quantum Leap Dancers. Also worked on the "Chaos" junior project in 2008 and choreographed for Quantum Leaps 2009 production "Select Option" which performed at the Canberra Playhouse theatre in July 2009.
Marko has tutored and choreographed at many major events worldwide including the 2008 E.S.D.U Convention in Europe, Ausdance Australian Youth Dance Festival 2009, Utopian Dream 2009 Coffs Harbor, Ausdance Canberra Master School 2010, The Australian Dance Festival Sydney and his very own convention "The Perth Workshop".
Marko has also assisted many choreographers across the world including Jason Gilkison on So You Think You Can Dance Australia & America, Michael Schwandt (Los Angeles), Roger Lee & Bethany "Peanut" Strong (Australian Dance Workshop Tour).
Marko Panzic has worked as a regular choreographer on ABC's Logie Award winning T.V series "Dance Academy" Series One & Two.
In 2009 Marko Panzic created a new work "ShortBursts" on Perth Contemporary Company "Buzz Dance Theatre", which was selected to performed at the 2010 Australian Dance Awards in Melbourne.
Marko Panzic has staged and directed many support acts for internationally touring shows in Australia including Chris Sorbello's show at the 2010 Supafest Australian Tour supporting Akon, Kelly Rowland & Eve. Prinnie Steven's support act show for Bobby Valentine, Trey Songz, Allure and 112.
In 2010 Marko joined the cast of Fame The Musical for the John Frost Australian tour which ran for 10 months traveling to Melbourne, Brisbane & Sydney. Directed and Choreographed by Kelley Abbey.
Marko Panzic Choreographed the Hit film clip for DJ Havana Brown "We Run The Night" following this he created her support act show for the Chris Brown "Fame Tour" 2011 & Enrique Iglesias + Pitbull "Euphoria" Tour 2011.
Recently Marko Created and Choreographed Havana Brown's "We Run The Night" & "Get It" & Ricki Lee's "Raining Diamonds" Live Performances on X Factor Australia.
