Ice Pointe - Centum 21 @ Young Artists' Festival

READ: Ice Pointe is an indie alternative rock band consiting of me on keyborads, and my friends Noah (drums) and Wesley (guitar). We conceived the idea for the band on August 12, 2008 (I wrote that date down), and at that time we had two other members who could not perform with us on this performance.

We were about to do a different song, which was being written entirely by me, but Wesley changed everything when he proposed this new tune. I quickly wrote sheet music for us in time for our first practice of the song, which was a week before this performance.

We hope to stay together for a very long time and continue making lots of music. Our style is very similar to Julien-K and I suppose The Beach Boys.

This song is entirely copyrighted to us, we take all ownership credit.

Performed the same place and time I played the "War" theme by Vince DiCola.

nice! i had the same idea 2 start a band with my friends but the don't know if they want 2 or not. i used to play the violin, i sing now, i can play some things on the piano & i'm learning 2 play the guitar

thanks a lot! i'll tell wesley that. personally, i consider this song more of a stepping stone song to get us noticed and lay down what we should sound like.

this summer we hope to post one-minute demos of some other songs we could throw together.

nope, we're just starting out. plus we're 14, 11, and 11 years old, so future songs (which will be longer and include lyrics) might be in stores in about 8 years.
