If children need both a mother & father, then what the are you doing banning same-sex marriage rather than banning single parent houselholds, outlawing divorce, and preventing marriages of convenience? Why not ban Jews and Muslims from marrying since they don't follow your traditions? Jesus sided with the adulterers and forgave them, not those who persecuted them and falsely claimed the rightesouness of heaven. You have lost your humility and are a sham messenger. Take your golden calf back.

Perhaps this narrator and the woman speaking don't realize that it was the COURTS that helped to secure their equality. Now, they don't want the courts doing the same for others.  Disgusting.

Abraham Lincoln rejected the social equality of the races, but we respect and admire his revolutionary efforts that laid the foundation for the eventual civil rights movement; and we recognize that at the time he lived, racial equality was too radical an idea. Dr. King's leadership was in the spirit of what Lincoln had started. I'm certain that Dr. King would not have agreed with gay rights, but I believe it is in the spirit of what he started. Gays don't "hijack" the movement; it inspires them.

So if a child needs both a mother and a father then there should be a law that states that if you have children and you lose your wife/husband then you have to remarrie in a 2 weeks time.

Exactly what make this a moral issue? What is it that is immoral about homosexuality. If you are going to point to the bible, then recognize that not everyone agrees with your bible as a source for moral code, and for that reason we have the 1st amendment of the constitution to separate church and state.

Seriously, if the bible is a source of morality, then you should show your loyalty to god by killing your children in god's name, just like Abraham. If God won't stop you, it must be his will.
