I first heard this song from Irish immigrants in Australia in the 1930's when the events of the previous twenty years in Ireland were still felt strongly and were mostly the cause of them emigrating. The emotions in Bradesh's voice reminds me of the previous 200 years of Irish history in a way in which more well known singers could not.

I am pretty sure I just found my favorite rendition of Danny Boy.....such a pure voice.
I have only said that about two other singers ...John Denver and Emily Lou Harris.
