At the 1986 Soap Opera Awards, Kimberly McCullough (Robin) wins Best Young Actress; Genie Francis (Laura) presents the Editors' Award to Douglas Marland; Anna Lee (Lila) is interviewed and then gives out an award with son Jeffrey Byron ("All My Children"). "General Hospital" producer Gloria Monty is feted by John Beradino (Steve), Sam Behrens (Jake), Steve Bond (Jimmy Lee), Ian Buchanan (Duke), John Reilly (Sean), Brad Maule (Tony), Tony Geary (Luke), Tristan Rogers (Robert) and Doug Sheehan (Joe) before getting a special award. Lynn Herring (Lucy) and Buchanan and Finola Hughes also present awards.

Definately Knots Landing Michele Lee and Kevin Dobson as the winner of Super Couple. We planned our whole week around when Knots Landing aired. We would never miss it. I think that is the only show we ever did that with.
