  • Well done! I've tried to learn the guitars on this one, and you're MUCH closer to having it on the skins than I am on the strings! Steve Morse just kicks my butt every which way!

  • @kchuvala Thank you! This is a great song to learn, and maybe one of these days I'll get around to uploading a newer recording of this. With better audio.

  • I have been trying to play this song for years. I never figured out the timing on some parts till I saw you do it. You are strong.

  • @bizviz100 Why, thank you.

  • Excellent

  • my guitar instructor says he's gonna teach me this song, or parts...

  • hey man great playing! nailed it better than when i was your age! haha i was looking for this song live by the dregs and came across your video! sounds great man, very precise! anyways, when i was about your age, actually a little younger, i saw rod morganstein at a clinic with my dad! i was probably 11, it was around 1994, but anyways i hadnt seen anything like him til that point in my short lifetime! i loved this tune the most and used to try to play it right for years! keep rocking bro!

  • good stuff, man. nice sense of tempo and articulation

  • @softhotty

Great post. (RIP T Lavitz) Have you seen the school of rock kids doing cruise control? My eyes water when I see young people taking real music seriously. Gives me hope, with so many into brainless/soulless corporate crap spoonfed them from birth. Good job dude.

  • what a snare!

  • @softhotty Agree wholeheartedly with softhotty. Rod Morgenstein is a master. Steve Morse pushed him to his limits and got him to play amazing stuff. His work with Andy West on bass was nothing short of spectacular. You can't find any better musicians than the Dregs, so you're definitely on the right track. Of course, this is one of the easier songs to play; try "Ice Cakes" - the drums in the middle/late middle section kill!
