As a anishanabe person i have always had problems with some peoples linear ways of thinking.....now listen and listen closley....when animals like Buffaloes get scared at things like tornadoes and thunderstorms they all run together in a so called "stampede".....and when this happens at night and there is a cliff in the area of the "stampede" the animals(buffalo) in the said "stampede" will unintentionally run off the cliff...is that to hard to comprehend????

@helen1434 - My point is that this theory is a farse, animals when running can run off the edge of the cliff, they make it sound like the natives were theb only ones that were the cause of their going over the cliff, and for me and other native people there are so many "facts" about us that some of us feel the need to try and set some of these stories strait.....and i mentioned nothing about the " old ways of doing this".

@Superdave1ize the way the Native Americans and other cultures made the Buffalo run off the cliffs is not Farse, i dont think people were trying to say Native Americans were the only ones to run the buffalo off the cliff yes thunder and natural things ran them off cliff to, im not sure who you are reffering to saying "they make it sound like NA were the only ones" dont think anyone is disputing that, but this video is about the NA way of doing it :)

@mexicansnowglobe Nice username hmmm in that part of the world we can get Spirulina ever heard of it even in China,India,USA ohter parts also.We can eat Sea Kelp also what we do need=amino acids,which we can get from plants plus we can do Permaculture and if anything plants also have easier proteins to breakdown than meat.Would suggest Google Earthlings Joaquin Phoenix the guy from Gladiator the emperor and soundtrack by Moby Good Luck Enjoy Peace.

@Katharsis540 who cares if we are slaughtering and being inhumain to the animals they have no brain and we need to eat out meat. If we eat all the plants we wont have any more so look on the other side of the story.

if may add they have great respect to these animals unlike today mainstream slaughter houses and the way we consume animals,if anything now we can grow anything and yeah plants have protein check hemp seeds as a start.no need to eat meat really,amino acids make protein and the body can make protein out of the amino acids namaste.
