@wifflum Actually, you'd be surprised by how smart lady gaga really is. Think about it, how could a dumb person sell their talent? lady gaga used to play piano and sing beautifully, my aunt saw her in concert way before she was on the devils puppet strings. maynard says he's not qualified to be a teacher, so we just gotta take what we can get from his words. Because that's what music is, relating and drawing our own conclusions. And hes a musician above all. Not a prophet.

anyone who's seen Maynard live knows he isn't a great performer, in the sense of a front man. I believe him to be an artist to the greatest extent in anything he does including his music and wine making. He is a brilliant man and a deep thinker

@bluephreakr Actually it was work by Tim Alexander (Primus) and Mike Bordin (Faith No More) featuring Maynard on background vocals. It's just more of Tim Alexander's solo work. There...You're proven otherwise.

You're right. Maynard isn't a God, but hes also not just a performer. There is a GREAT DEAL to be learned from Maynard; hes highly intelligent and pretty much knows the path to living a good life, that is, if the lyrics he sings are any indication.
Really though, saying Maynard is 'just a performer' is deeply ignorant. Theres a pretty MASSIVE intellectual difference between Maynard and say.. Lady Gaga.
