COD4 - Resistance Fall of Man Bypass + Codes and Hacks Full Tutorial

*UPDATE:7-Sep-2011: People have been telling me this method of bypassing the update no longer works, but you can use the patchbloacker method, Youtube search it and you should find a tutorial on it*
*This will work on both Mac and Windows*

This is how to bypass the COD4 1.4 patch and get mods with the Resistance Fall of Man method

STEPS:

*Before you start, you may want to backup your cod4 and Resistance Fall of Man game-saves by copying them to a memory stick or computer*

1. Delete the Cod4 1.4 patch by going into Game Data Utility (I don't know if you need to do this but I know it works if you do)

2. Delete the Cod4 Game-Save(s) by going into the Saved Data Utility and deleting it

3. Now go onto your computer and download a Resistance Fall of Man game-save and make sure you select the one for your region:

North America: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=2804DK53

Japan: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=PMEXEE1G

4. Un-zip the file and copy it to a memory stick

5. Plug the memory stick into the PS3 and copy the save data to the PS3 and if its asks, overwrite it.

6. Now start up Resistance Fall of Man

7. Skip the intro and start a new game (or just select the first level)

8. After the cut scene ends(when you cant move and you see the plane get shot down) Press start and select Save and Quit, and highlight Yes

9. Then press the PS button and take out Resistance Fall of Man

10. Put in Cod4 and wait until the disc icon appears

11. When it appears press the PS button again to return to the game and select Yes - This should start up Cod4

12. Skip all the intros and go onto Multiplayer and select Play Online - This creates a special Cod4 game save

13. Quit the game and you will see a new Cod4 game save in the Saved Data Utility

14. Copy that save to your memory stick and plug it into your computer

15. Locate the game save by navigating through the files until you see GPAD0_CM and GPAD0_MP

16. Copy and paste these codes into those files (If you know what your doing you can put your own codes in):

17. So save those codes and take out the memory stick and put it back into your PS3

18. Go into your Saved Data Utility and delete the Cod4 saved data

19. Copy the saved data from the memory stick with the codes to your PS3 *TWICE*

20. Now repeat steps 6 to 11 - **IMPORTANT ** DO THIS QUICKLY: When the game starts skip the intros and select Multiplayer. Then there will be a message saying: Reading HDD... , and as soon as it goes away quickly join a split screen game and go into the lobby (where you see all the players in the game listed on the right side of the screen)

21. Wait there for about 10 seconds, just to be safe I stay in there a few seconds longer

22. Now you can quit split screen and you should have successfully bypassed and get mods on Cod4! - You can now play online with your mods!

Other things to know:
If you want to play cod4 normally then just start the game normally with the disc and you CAN download the 1.4 patch, and if you want to bypass and get mods again all you need to do is steps 6 to 11

@Theskaterwithaturban In this video I used a dazzle, you can use other things like an easycap, those 2 only record in low quality though, you can get a hd pvr that can record 1080, or you can get something you put inside your desktop, which is what i have now, and that does the same as a hd pvr but its inside a computer, they are way more expensive but you get perfect quality
