Journey live, "Stone In Love"- San Antonio July '08

Journey playing "Stone In Love" in San Antonio July 25, 2008. You couldn't have asked for anyone to be more energetic than Arnel, and he really shone through, even nailing songs like "Open Arms". I was lucky enough to see the farewell "Raised on Radio" tour with Steve Perry and was wondering if this would cheapen the memory of that truly special show, but 21yrs later it was great to see all those classics alive again. I usually don't get to video many whole songs so I don't lose the enjoyment of being at a live show, but I love the elements of this one- Neal Schon shouted out the location, introduced Arnel, and it had a special lead in- so got lots of bang for the buck here. And of course it is a driving, rocking song!

Desireca46...1)I've seen Journey on their ESCAPE tour,Steve did not move that much.2)Steve also had a hard time getting those high notes.

I urge you to see Steve Perry "Stone in love 1981" and Steve Perry "Stone in Love 94" videos and thats exactly what I've heard and seen in concert. Peace

To Lanimar3417 I am very aware of what Arnel has done on the new album. I own it... This comment was so long ago .. What song is he singing here? I happen to work with many of them They are very talented and can sing anything and sound awesome I stand by my statement. Arnel was hired because he sounded like perry and could do the songs well..

To Desireca46: It seems that you do not know that Arnel sang his own Journey songs in Revelation. Songs that none of the older Journey singer sang. Revelation CD has 2 CDs with 11 greatest hits and new songs. Not all filipinos singers are mimics. Filipinos and other asians only need opportunity.
