Sung to the tune of Ave Maria by Franz Shubert, Lena Schrantz, the proverbial Jewish mother laments the potential loss of her grownup gay son Lance to his new boyfriend Gary. She confides her concerns in her friend Maria, a young girl from the neighborhood who has come by to visit and check on her.
