Hans Zimmer was born on 12 Sep 1957 in Frankfurt, Germany. His birth name was Hans Florian Zimmer. His is also called Hans Zimmer .

He is a composer and producer, best known for his film scores. He has composed music for over 100 films, including Hollywood blockbusters such as the Pirates of the Caribbean series, Gladiator, The Lion King, The Da Vinci Code and The Dark Knight.
