what about custom roms?? and even the update to gb 2.3.5 or 2.3.6

@scoopyabcdefghi: No the entire Galaxy S series is not getting the ICS update........ a big booh to Samsung coz this model has the hardware to support ICS.

@geekyranjit : No Ranjit, Galaxy S is getting 'ICS Lite' .Remember reading something like that. So may be S plus would too.

Excellent Review. I have a question though. I have a budget of 20k. Could you suggest me the best Android phone I can get for that??? I need a good balance of performance n picture quality(not necessarily the camera, but the interface). Thanks in advance.

@geekyranjit w8 w8 and what about Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V??? They say it can take ICS but why? It doesn't have better hardware than SGSP. Even if it takes ICS will it kneel???

And one more last question :)

If you had to choose between Samsung Galaxy S Plus in 270 € let's say and Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V in 200 € which one would you choose and why???
