Swirl marks are a problem for everyone, car guy or not, and there's nothing attractive about a car with swirls.  To remove swirls, your best choice is Meguiar's® Ultimate Compound or SwirlX Swirl Remover. Each product provides a quick and safe solution for use by hand, orbital buffer or even Meguiar's Dual Action Polisher.

  • is it necessary to prep the area with degreaser/wax remover first? im having trouble getting any swirls out with meguiar's scratchX and a turtlewax brand DA buffer/polisher. im picking up a drillmaster 7" sander/polisher tomorrow and hope it do a better job.

    anyone have any advice?

  • @IGMCI511I1978I fucky u whereever u are from

  • @CHUCKL1DD3LL That's bullshit. UC and SwirlX are actually great products. On my slightly softer 12 year old Dodge black paint, UC corrects VERY well. On newer foreign cars with harder clear coats (like Mercedes), #105 works a bit better. But saying that these products are a gimmick is ignorant. You've either never used them, or have no idea how to properly use them.

  • That is why all you meguires geeks , need to be using MOTHERS products they are the real deal!

  • FUKY USA

  • @Fewstanator @Fewstanator you get them from ebay, cleanyourcar, polishedbliss, depends what country you are in, im in ireland,

although ebay is you best bet

  • @CHUCKL1DD3LL ive heard alot about the # type waxes and shit, where do you buy these, the website?

  • doesnt work. meguiars #105 and a machine polisher is needed its too hard t remove swirls with hand!! UC and swirlx is a gimmick!

  • Does the foam applicator comes with it or we need to buy it sepparatly ?

  • @BryanConover the only way you could have done that is by using a rotary polisher which is the method used by professionals. Which as you have found out the hard way, can cause a lot of damage in untrained hands, they burn through paint like a hot knife through butter. The type of polisher you see in the meguiars videos is dual orbital, which basically can't damage the paintwork.
