  • @cristiank91 his arms were on the ropes, and badr was in his face, he could've put him to sleep there for sure. The ref made a good call. Better to stop the fight instead of letting overeem wake up with a massive headache.

  • @chrismarcinko badr hari is a real k1 fighter. Overeem came to the k1 with his cocky ass to 'dominate' another fighting sport. No one in the kickboxing scene likes the guy.

  • @Niko75full you are foolish if you think no one watches boxing anymore. A mid level boxer with a moderate record retires with millions, whereas a Top Notch mma champion retires broke in most cases. I compete and teach mma MUAY THAI along with Paqua and I will never speak out against the sweet science. Although I am a purest and do not think we should compete for money , since these are actually all designed to be forms of self defense. Have a happy day and God Bless America

  • Think referee stopped fight little early, Overeem was little dazzed, but not enough to stop it just yet...

  • @chrismarcinko Yeah , sure ! Just a little bit :-)))

  • @chrismarcinko

it's because they are kickboxers and Overeem is an MMA fighter who said MMA is harder than KB

  • @Niko75full

    lol i'm an MMA fan

i'm just saying that luck plays a bigger role in MMA than it does in boxing

One Punch Knock outs are almost non-existant in boxing outside of heavy weight, and usually only happen when the fight is a mismatch

Because of the lighter MMA gloves, lots of fighters just look to land that one big punch, instead of setting up combos and fighting smart

In boxing, the technically superior boxer rarely loses

MMA has the punchers chance and last minute submissions

  • @bobbybushae339 MMA is not about luck it s about guts. do you know why no one are watching boxing anymore ?? because it s boring now. MMA and muay thai fighter are maybe less technical than the boxer but they are more spectacular. And watch the fight between diego sanchez and clay guida you wanna see what MMA is all about.

  • this guy is almost a dynamite, very fast very powerfull

  • @biz720

well this is a kickboxing tournament

in standard kickboxing they have a three knockdown rule

both of these men had two fights just before this, and badr went on to a final, if every fight went to a stoppage or decision, all the fighters would retire injured after 2 fights

and kickboxing is more like boxing than muay thai or mma, ruleswise that is

the objective isnt to swing haymakers and hope to get lucky, the rules benefit fighters that have tactics and technique, not luck
