LEDs from Atlanta Hobby http://www.atlantahobby.com are definitely done right! See my Tiger F-18 test flight, dusk, & total darkness flight plus my installation method.

After seeing their ad in the latest issue of Model Aviation magazine, I was prompted to immediately order some to try.

They are quite innovative and definitely were designed to be easy to install. They are easily seen from the pilot's viewpoint, while the plane is flying at any angle.

See all the versions available at Http://www.afterdarkled.com

Hats off to them, and Happy NightFlyying.......

  • Hey Dave, I have a Blade 400 and I want to turn it into a cool Nightflyer by putting the red and green lights on the canopy, and then the tail light's on the tail boom.(Lights from Atlanta Hobby). But the problem is that I don't know what size LED system to use! The 30 or 60 size? Thanks. You and Jeff do a verry good job!!!

  • Add a laser with a rotating head!

  • damn man

    thats pretty slick,

simple circuit could give you flashing or fading lights.

man you could fly in bad weather and pitch black with that bright of lighting.

    really kick ass idea though.

  • when its time to land you no where the road is, its like when u first ride a bike you never forget

  • thats looks very cool dave..

  • now we know why there are ufo storys and stiing.

  • I just noticed, if it's that dark, how can you even see a thing? You are sooo skilled!
