OK well not sure if this is good news or not but Neil Burger is now taking on the task of writing/directing Uncharted. The guy seems unproven as a director but maybe this could be a breakout franchise as long as he takes the fans concerns into account. He really needs to stick to the source material and DO NOT USE WAHLBERG OR FILLION. I think Wes Bentley or Matt Bomer would be a great choice.

@jackdexx I haven't seen Limitless yet but everyone i know who has says it falls apart at the end. I'll probably check it out though.

Bradley Cooper for Nathan Drake !!

@DahcipheR Wes Bentley is a really great choice . The guy has the same features as Drake and is only 33 which is within the age range of the character.

EVERYONE, GREAT NEWS TODAY!: David O'Russell will no longer be directing the new Uncharted movie because of "creative differences" he had between the studio. This also means Mark Wahlberg is no longer playing the role of Nathan Drake.

Good news, but who do you think could take the directors chair? My money is on someone not quite mainstream yet, but still delivers quality action/story. (ex. Duncan Jones) I'm also hoping for either Bradley Cooper, Nathan Fillion, or Joe Flanigan for Drake.

@AgentCarver All of those actors would be either in their late 40's or early 50's by then. The best bet would be to scour all young acting talent who fit the look and personality of Nathan Drake. Fillion would have been great if he was younger but he's just too old now. I'm sure there's someone who can play this part perfectly and hopefully they choose someone relatively unknown who could be launched into stardom which will save money on salary and bullshit behind the scenes.

Nathan fillian as Drake is a good casting choice. Dude needs to drop some weight thou, he got pretty big over the last 6 years.

I really like this. You did an awesome job. The role of Nathan Drake was meant for Nathan Fillion. I hope Uncharted does become a movie.
