I love how Chet wouldn't overplay his solos then right when ya thought yeh yeh hes slow and mellow. Then right at the end of the solo hes like there ya go precious some speed riffs for the kids. haha 2 Greats!

@fridrikur Correction. There are still cracks and hisses but only audible when they are playing. Seems the cracks have been edited out digitally.

@prscyberman I took a relisten and it is not that bad. There are some strange clipping and the sound is very low in the eq, but there are no crack, pops or hisses. Sorry my bad. But the sound quality is still very poor compared to other Chet cd's.

@prscyberman I have the so called digital copy on cd and was very disappointed regarding audio quality to learn that the copy was no better than the original - still cracks and hisses and a low tone in the mix. But this remains one of my favourite albums. The cd I got was made by Raven. Ravenrecords. It came along with a album I love even more called Reflections with doc and chet. I do not know if there is a better audio recording of this merle and chet album but I hope so.

@doubleotwentyone Don't give me all that "Acoustic" bullshit. Neither Chet nor Merle played acoustic!! Electric stuff. Not too loud. Just right... if you want to hear guitar the way it ought to sound.

@davonwav There's some great stuff on this album together with a lot of light-hearted banter. It's all acoustic too, which is nice.
