@eventfularse Some people might like both operating systems. Personally, I hate Windows but both operating systems have problems. Browsing the Internet in Windows feels like using a developer preview to me, but gaming on a Mac just can't be done.

@SqeakyGoldfish What's the point then? I thought the whole reason to buy a Mac was for the OS, but if you need Windows on it then doesn't that kind of defeated the object of your initial purchase?

You can do everything on a Mac that you can do on a PC. Just Boot Camp the hard drive...

UEFI is not a problem. you can turn it off on the BIOS. I also don't see it being needed to run windows 8. MS would be shooting them self in the foot. doing something like this. Because people would not be able to upgrade.
As for Bulldozer. It's a flop. I performs on par with the i5 (Quad core) and cant get close to the i7 in any thing but heavily threaded benchmarks.
AMD blames windows 7. But there at fault for not working with MS to get the chip working.

@TheTechSource1 Thanks =D And we all found out that AMD FX sucked..

Haha, their cores are so inefficient. 8 cores the same as 4, what a joke.

I have the Windows 8 Beta on my 2 year old Dell Laptop. It was really slow when running on XP but now with Windows 8 it flies. I can still boot into XP though and it has no EFI BIOS or anything. I think what has been said must just be rumours.
