@ohnoher There's also an assumption in the world (not just entertainment but journalism and academia too) that while women are interested in stories about men, men are not interested in stories about women. Which, if true, is pretty sad.

Keeping Simon Pegg quiet? Is that even possible? Haha love Simon. This is so interesting seeing a slightly different side to these comedic geniuses. Thanks for uploading these :)

I think the biggest problem for female comedians is that they make a point of being female. In a sort of "HEY I'M A WOMAN BUT I'M STILL QUITE FUNNY EVEN THOUGH I'M GENDER-CHALLENGED!". I laugh my ass off at Charlyn Yi and Kristen Schaal. They're genuinely hilarious, and they couldn't really give a fuck what gender they are. Stop feeling sad about being female and you're more likely to be funny. Harsh but true.

I bet all my fortune that She did not asked of Mr. Cleese about this. :-D

It was the end...the very end of Noel's story that did it for me.
I coughed from laughing so hard. xD
I disagree with you. Women are just as funny as men are. The comedy world is just a very male dominated business (like most businesses), so males are usually the ones who get top billing and ever really "make it." That's not to say that the fellas here haven't earned their keep (oh how I love Eddie Izzard); it's just important to acknowledge the role that good old fashion sexism plays in the entertainment world.
