  • Music in the US isn't dead. It just smells funny.

  • ok, toolbag... "1/5 tone too high." Aren't you just something else.

  • A worthy attempt. I am curious as to the grade he received for this performance. It is always a rare treat to hear and watch ANY performance of adapted Frank Zappa compositions in a given setting only due to the rarity of such. I am begging the University here where I live to have its Music Department play Frank Zappa compositions as part of their recitals, only because, in my humble opinion, Frank Zappa is one of the greatest musicians and composers of the 20th century.

  • Booooooooo! You Suck!

  • i farted once, and it sounded a lot like this performance

  • I love Eric Dolphy, Where is hell is he in this piece??? Cause I don't here him at all.

  • Where's the BBQ at???

  • lacks the joyous spirit of the original....played like a dirge....

but at least they recognize Zappa as a unique musician......even tho he was a major music thief.....

  • The tempo is too slow, the drums sound awful and the piece just is not played right. If this is all that comes out of a senior class, no wonder music in the US is dead.

  • this was fucking awesome! i rise in applause!!!

  • great effort! like another poster said earlier, it's great to hear zappa's music being performed. keep up the hard work!

  • i agree, he sticks out like a sore thumb at some parts.
