"I honestly believe that religion, science and history lessons was once the same." What an interesting statement. I believe you are correct. Our Bible is looked to even today to inform our ideas of history and the "monkey trials" and "creationism" shows the connection between religion and science in the minds of many.

It is true that people decided which books were included and which were excluded. Those books were included that fit the theology and opinion of the ruling religious party of the day.

@jenhba: With all due respect, god didn't write the bible, or any other religious text. man did. man also re-wrote the text to suit his needs, be they material or spiritual across all denominations and traditions. satan didn't write anything either.

I agree with you 100%. Although it may be argued that the spirit of God communicated the idea or word to man in the beginning (if one believes in this inspiration), it is true that man wrote it, re-wrote it, translated it and even miss-translated it, and did this at times to suit the prevailing beliefs. However, the search and research of these things make for a very interesting study.

I suspect that many technologies we have discovered recently have been around for a very long time. They are being seeded when the powers that be, need us to use them. This would explain the many "prophecies" of the bible. It's easy to make a prophecy, if you can fullfill it yourself.

The same goes for the bible and many other holy books. They seed what they need us to know, for us to fit into their plan.

whoa this is some good stuff. i've read through enoch and jubilees and parts of the sumerian text. i think what hits you smack between the eyes is that the flood story and 'nephilim' is the same as germanic/aryan/celts/greek myth. nephilim appear to be aryans. do you come away with the same conclusion?
