@CoopYears No problems. I've finished updating the CD pack now, so let me know if you get stuck. I'd love to see some pics of the finished puppets too, I think pirates would be lots of fun to make :)

Hi thnks for the advice, also I will buy foam glue if neccesary, but I'm just wondering would hot glue (from a hot glue gun) work on foam or would it wreck it? I'm just wondering g because hot glue dries In like 30 seconds. Thnks

@CoopYears Again, all this is explained in detail in the pattern/s. Hot glue is ok, but it has several cons: it takes a lot more hot glue to make the puppet with (and ends up being more expensive); it leaves unsightly seams; it's not as durable and can break the foam down over time faster than foam glue; and it's very easy to hurt yourself with. Every pro muppet builder recommends using a contact cement of some sort over hot glue.

@CoopYears Incidentally, my first muppet-type puppets were indeed made using hot glue. I can tell you right now they look absolutely horrible in comparison with the ones using Foam Glue. :)

Hello again! I'm just wondering, is it easier to cover the head in fleece, or cut out the head pattern onto the fleece and stick that on the head?
CoopYears 1 year ago
@CoopYears If you have either of the patterns, there are clear instructions on how to add the fleece to the head. Again, too long to explain in detail here, but suffice to say: you can do either. Some ppl do 'draping' (fleece draped over the foam, cut and sew where the fleece overlaps itself); some use the pattern for more precision.

@CoopYears Ah sorry. Things are a bit chaotic and links are going missing... Youtube doesn't like me posting links, so go to:
stores dot lulu dot com / puppetsinmelbourne. It's the fourth item down.
