Soreike! Anpanman - Creampanda and Shiratama-san

For the confused - Shiratama-san is an actor in the tradition of Takarazuka Revue, where all roles are played by women. In particular, she's based on the actresses who play male roles. Takarazuka Revue has had a major impact on Japanese culture; any Revolutionary Girl Utena fans should feel right at home with this character.

Fun note - people talking to Creampanda insult him in at least two ways. His name is actually Creampan, but thanks to the dark spots around his eyes and a pun on the way he introduces himself ("Creampan da!" ["I'm Creampan!"] sounds just like "Creampanda!" ["I'm Creampanda!"]), many people have mistaken his name and kept it, despite his insistences. Additionally, you'll notice the other kids referring to him as Creampanda-CHAN. Given that he's male and they're his peers, "-kun" would be more appropriately respectful. Them's the breaks, Creampanda.
