June 1 2009: Tony Ebdon and Christopher Petrie embarked on an epic canoe odyssey where they followed the historic Western Canadian fur trade route. The pair started at Fort Edmonton on the North Saskatchewan River. CORRECTION: Diefenbaker Dam was a nickname some of the locals of Prince Albert gave to the unfinished dam. This is not the case it is actually called La Colle Falls hydro electric project and construction first begun in 1910 and was abandoned shortly after. Deifenbaker was not in office until 1957, just 3 years before the unfinished dam was pade off by the town of Prince Albert.
