First Time Parents rough draft

The co op project film. It is a bit tough to be a first time parent to a fire-breathing monster. Puppets and props were fabricated by Emily Baxter and Ceri Watling and mailed to me with props. Tons of people helped with the storyline. I animated all shots. Sound effects provided by Don Carlson, and the incredible music soundtrack provided by Thomas VanOosting. The fireball shot was composited by Roger McTodd. This film took a year to complete. The puppets have a wire armature and the skin is hand knitted/crocheted.

it took a few months for the story, a few months for puppet and props, a few months for animation then a few months for effects and compilation...it took about 14 months total...

Amazingly animated John! I especially like the different expressions you got from the puppets in the last scene, and the mouth action when Dad is eating the gingerbread man. I'm so glad I got to be involved in it :)
