  • Very cute! She'll go far!

  • Thanks much!

  • I have played lots of different kinds of music in my over 35yrs of playing and getting paid for it. I was worried that once Asleep at the Wheel moved on, that this wonderful genre of music would fade away. Please keep her picking the western swing. There will always be a market for it, but I worry in this age of rap and metal that it may become nothing more than an oddity. With girls like this playing it, I see it is in good hands.

  • Thanks much for all your nice comments...I am glad Lauren has a real love for western swing music....I will continue to nurture that in her....By the way...She loves Asleep at the Wheel and has played several times with them and even been in a theater play with them called "A Ride With Bob"

  • Dang... I just stumbled in and was overwhelmed! I'll remember the name and keep a lookout for her first CD, she's western swing's hope for the 21st century! Much good luck!!!

  • Well thanks so much! I'll pass that on to her....

  • I want to see her with Ruby Jane Smith now. What a little gal!!!

  • How could anyone NOT love this. She is cute......and good

  • that's fantastic!!

  • Ray Benson is one of the truly nice guys in the music business. I actually had lunch with him many years ago in Evergreen, CO and we talked music and band stuff for about an hour. I don't think I am telling you anything you don't know-Ray has the passion for this music that is rare, and I am not at all surprised that Lauren has played with him. Your classy response to the compliments tell me Lauren is going to be well grounded if the elusive brass ring falls her way. Good Luck.

  • Lot of talent in that small voice and when it grows up, WATCH OUT FOLKS!! We need to keep music in front of the youngin's they are the future!! GooD Job!!

  • this is what realy keeps the music going i am a 35 yr pluse road picker you got alot of talent there dont grow up and let anyone talk you into quitting
