O'Leary is a co-host of the Dragon's Den and one half of Lang and O'Leary, the CBC News Network (Formerly CBC Newsworld) replacement for NBN hosted by Fred Langan. The show is intended to be combative clash of personalities between Lang and O'Leary, just like lousy American news shows.

[Comment corrected Oct 30, 2009. David Goldberg changed to David Rosenberg.]

Today O'Leary grills David Rosenberg, arguing he failed to make money for his customers by being too bearish (pessimistic). I wonder what motivates O'Leary to do this?

PLEASE NOTE: THIS VIDEO IS INTENDED AS A CRITIQUE OF THE NEW FORMAT OF CBC NEWS, UNVEILED LATE OCTOBER, 2009. THE CBC IS A NATIONAL BROADCASTER PAID FOR BY THE TAXPAYER. MORE THAN PERHAPS ANY OTHER COUNTRY ON EARTH, THE CANADIAN IDENTITY HAS BEEN SHAPED BY HIGH QUALITY MEDIA PROJECTS INITIATED BY THE CANADIAN GOVERNMENT (NFB & CBC). THIS CRITICISM IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROMOTING HIGH QUALITY JOURNALISM AT THE CBC, AND THEREBY THE BEST USE OF CANADIAN TAXPAYER'S MONEY.

I BELIEVE MY USE OF THESE MATERIALS IS WITHIN THE LIMITS OF FAIR USE. SHOULD THE CBC REQUEST THESE VIDEOS BE TAKEN DOWN, I WILL SEND COPIES TO CTV, THE CANADIAN GOVERNMENT, AND INTERNET ARCHIVING PROJECTS, WHICH WILL ENSURE THE CRITIQUES WILL CONTINUE TO BE HEARD.
