@mygreatgrandfather There is more than 167 episodes. After the initial 167 there are 26 episodes in Inuyasha: The Final Act. It closes the series though I won't spoil anything.

Nope they stop at the 167th episode because apparently this was not as popular as the English manga so they stopped making the episodes there.

@theunkowncreator I've watched the Final Act in Japanese. I can attest to that personally. If you haven't watched it it's out there.

I love inuyasha and research him often, however, inuyasha is said to be a dog demon but he has some cat characteristics, such as climbing trees. I think he is just MOSTLY dog demon.

@theunkowncreator It's hard to find, but I watch it on Hulu and you can buy it on Ebay. It's in Japanese though, but it's still a must see for true InuYasha lovers:)
