Unicorns in the Bible

There are unicorns in the Bible. At least, they are mentioned. ShockofGod calls out atheists on how they have "Unicorn Syndrome" (as well as Santa Syndrome) because atheists sometimes use the unicorn and other mythical creatures to make a point. They usually compare these creatures to the belief in God, resulting in the ridiculousness of it all. However, unicorns are mentioned in the precious King James version of the Bible. Other more modern translations sometimes say "ox" or "oxen" and some Christians say that the verses are referring to a Rino. Seriously? Nice way to cover your butts. Some Christians actually BELIEVE unicorns once or do exist. Some simply say that the King James version is flawed (which, in many ways, I would have to agree...but not on the fact of the unicorn, lol). Unicorns are mentioned in similes and metaphors to explain things in the Bible. However, they are also used as if they are/were real, which raises many eyebrows.

Generally had a single horn:
Psalms 92:10 But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

Deuteronomy 33:17 His glory is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are likethe horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.

Job 39:9-10 Will the unicorn be willing to serve thee, or abide by thy crib? Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee?

The young of, remarkable for agility:
Psalms 29:6 He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.

Of God as the strength of Israel:
Numbers 23:22 God brought them out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn.

Numbers 24:8 God brought him forth out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn: he shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows.

Of the wicked:
Isaiah 34:7 And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.

(Horns of,) of the strength of powerful enemies:
Psalms 22:21 Save me from the lion's mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.
unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

Well I guess , you'll need to make a new video that doesn't make you look ignorant. Unicorn has meant rhino for way longer than it has ever meant horned horse from pony land. Peace.

@fullmetal515 I know. I made a video called "I Was Wrong." Although it was the rhino, it is still explained as a unicorn in the King James version, which makes it confusing for modern-day readers. I would suggest changing it, but then the King James people would freak out. That was basically my point. It's not necessary to confuse people by keeping "unicorn" in there, when unicorn means something completely different than a rhino in modern-day times.

When the bible was written ,the word unicorns in the greek actually means rhino. in fact the name given by science to the rhinoceros is unicorns. so when you take this into consideration it's nothing more than a miss translation of the word rhinoceros!

Its amazing how many so called educated people have allowed people to  dishonestly trick them into thinking a unicorn is an evobabble horse from evolution fairy land! The unicorn and the bicornis are centuries old categoracil names for both types of rhino and they are both mentioned in the Bible. Whoop dee do! The King James Bible is correct. I have a original 1611 edition. The translators have a side note stating the unicorn as a rhinoceros. Unicorn is Old English for rino. All modern translation are incorrect. Also, I've spoken to missionaries who visit other lands where natives still practice drinking blood.
