BMT Jamaica Avenue Line (FULTON STREET)

(J) / (Z) SKIP-STOP EXPRESS | Jamaica Center, Queens to Broad Street, Manhattan via Brooklyn =)!

R42s and R160s shown here!

Note: (J) ONLY stops here. (Z) Skips this station.

-While it is the JAMAICA AVENUE LINE / EL, I made it the Fulton Street Line (BMT) due to this station as well as stations from Alabama Ave to Crescent Street being on Fulton St.

ENJOY =)!

  • why do bypassing trains have to slow down? (on any line)

  • @thebronxisnumber1 It slows down for the safety of the passenger as abdulla says. Unlike railroad which trains must speed due to the length of it getting to a station. The subway CAN get fast and not slow down at a station, IF control allows all signals to be green to prevent it from "tripping" and enabling the EM brakes.

  • @junjun798 R32s, although very good structurally and cosmetically, break down frequently, so they need SMS and fast if they are going to stay until 2017. R42s look absolutely horrible inside and out with their rusted car bodies and graffitti-tagged interiors. R68s used to be great, but now suck, breaking down more often than ever and are so fat looking and slow

  • @thesubwaynut Lol yea about that the y are getting retired in 2017 along with the remaining R32s nice tryyy R32,R42s and R68s are the best cars in the B divison iv been railfanning on em for 16yrs since iv been a lil kid im 17 so idk why they are so bad

  • god the R42s still look like shit. they better be retired within the next two years

  • @abdulla902 I'm not sure about the 59 st video, but the not in service R160 in this video came after the Z.

  • @thebronxisnumber1 maybe because control allowed the train to speed through since its probably late night

  • @abdulla902 First, the "not in service" train didnt slow down. Second, /watch?v=CmjNiSBINEo

  • @thebronxisnumber1 maybe for passenger on the stations safety

  • Notice the first car or two of every outbound train is packed, while the rear 6 aren't nearly as bad.
