I'm sure you've heard it before, but there is plenty of good music out there. I'm not going to name any, because music is different for everyone and if I mention any specifics, some dick will come along and insist that it is horrible. Youtube is great because of the "related videos" feature, so you can find stuff that is "similar." If people spent half as much time listening to music as they do complaining, they'd find stuff that they like.

The Tallest Man Alive, Stars, Imogen Heap, jj, Bombay Bicycle Club, Cults, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Lykke Li, Bon Iver, Iron and Wine, Mates of State, Russian Red, Belle and Sebastian…… 80s and 90s were great, but there's a LOT of good music out there, you're just too lazy to find it.
