And I am compelled to PRAY all the time.. as it is written but you can't grasp it until he pours His spirit unto you. Pray, pray and pray... as a child asking his father. My heart a bit later started to EXPLODE... to make a LONG story short. My mother came by later since I was dying inside, literally it felt like it. @JawsBrink Brother. I received the Holy Ghost, praise Jesus, two days ago! I had been studying/obeying/loving/search­ing him for three years. I thought I had the Holy Ghost... I even proclaimed it. Though. When it came up I always felt a heavyness in my heart. Listen. Two days ago, I went up at 05.00 to pray (which I have never done before, I always had a struggle to pray)... I wish i could receive the spirit of God.

I keep praying for it,i am a believer.

But speaking in tongues as a sign??

yes i want that,but it never happend.

What am i doing wrong?

How do i pray to make this happen?

@SoldierOfTheCross84 Read Acts 2:37 onwards. It clearly states that you receive the free gift of the Holy Spirit, after you repent and are baptised in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins.

@SoldierOfTheCross84 it says it in the bible. jesus recieved the holy spirit threw baptism. not speaking in tongues. Those tongues are fauls but there are some real tongues but the ones in those churches are learned behavior.

@jesussavior1364 Where in the Bible does it say that? The only person in the Bible that received the Spirit in the form of a dove was Jesus. The disciples received the Holy Spirit in the form of cloven tongues of fire. When does the Bible mention a ritual also? Please use scripture to support this.

@jesussavior1364 Where in the Bible does it say that? One of the few passages Derek uses is Acts 10 where Cornelius and his house receives, and read that passage, he was not baptized before he received. The Bible does not teach anywhere that you will receive the Holy Spirit only when you are baptized in water.

This man did not skip anything, watch his videos and be aware of the topics. The topic is receive the holy spirit. Go back to repentance topic, baptize in the water topics and then come to receive the holy spirit.
