Star François Bégaudeau is a real teacher who wrote a novel that the movie is based on. A bird's eye look inside Paris' inner city high schools.

  • Having grown in the french school system until I moved to the states years ago for my college education I can tell you that this movie was exactly how some class would be. I saw myself in this movie and it was amazing looking back and seing how crazy french get (without weapons at least) with all that verbal abuse teacher endure and sometimes we endured it because of their previous experience (maybe as a defense mechanism) bottom line a great movie(fyi I was not souleymane lol)

  • Great review i just saw the movie yesterday and i swear this film remind me of my public school days in Brooklyn
