my father worked in one of the prisons in which bronson was and he watched the film, and said about how the film is completly false from the reality,, but all that said he also mentioned how the fillm is "loosely" based on his life and more on the book that was wrote

Its sad to spend that long in prison and he did not kill any one, and you can kill some one and spend less time go figure. Did they think in the begining to give him counseling or rehabilitaion - that may have made a big difference, the system did fail him as much as the authoritys would like to think it didn't.
