@310sucks Lots of them could not afford to drive there, and relied on donations from others who could or people who took up collections to subsidise the cost of fuel. They did not all have the time to spare necessarily, many took holidays from work, took work with them etc because they felt that it was imperative that they were heard.

@ColdWarWarriors yep, we have a 100% risk of NATURAL climate change. Unfortunately it is not being addressed in governmental policy and therefore we not be adequately prepared for the fact that the earth may infact get cooler which could be absolutely disastrous.

Truckies want to get seriously heard? Don't bother with convoys, blockades or rally's, just organize 1 day off in unison, 1 day off every truckie would be able to afford, just spend it with your family by having a BBQ.

@tubester4567 your ignorance has no bounds, carbon is the building blocks of life, without carbon nothing here would exist, plants thrive on carbon as we do with air. If the govt was serious in doing something about it, it should be to conserve, not to tax, this is nothing but a super tax to get the govt back in surplus for the next election.

I tried to join in on the no confidence part of this protest and the organizers were too busy cutting everyone out.

In the end their rudness cut out everyone. In the end I call it another aussie failure to get everyone not just a bunch of truckers together against the cause to send a clear message to the world about governments that just do what they want. Aussies serve the duopoply and the people never become a monopoly over the government.

Try 10 milliom Id say lucky to be few hundred.
