You have to understand Blizzard started out in a small building with about 10 or so people? All the success they have had from their amazing games has required them to expand and become huge. They rival the biggest development teams now. And yes, a lot of people from a lot of the original teams(Diablo, starcraft, warcraft etc) have left and it's no longer the same company. A completely different company is there now, just making money off of past names. A lot of the old love is gone.

doesn't mean the powered armor wasnt inspired from warhammer. both lores have their pros and cons, but yes warhammers spacemarines very much inspired the aesthetics of the terran race in starcraft, much like protoss has many Eldar and Tau themes
