  • lmao, you actually thought a 10000 pound excursion was gonna beat up a ss trailblazer? i wouldn't have even wasted my diesel trying.

  • @TheSavageRedneck

To be fair, the Excursion had ran slower at the track, but not ALOT slower at that point

  • u shulda went with a 3:73 or 4:10 intstead of 3:27

  • @coty734

Wrong, it's a turbo car. It would be slower with a 3.73 or a 4.10. This is NOT a heads/cam/intake car.

  • @slackerm1 so your saying 3:27 are faster than 4:10's idk about that even with the turbo

  • @coty734

Yes, they are faster, turbos need load to spool. Not to mention this car traps in the 140's and would be wayyyy out of gear, as it's a low rpm setup. Get on turboforums, or any big turbo site, the turbo V8 guys never run alot of gear. Hell, my friend's Lightning was a non turbo setup and picked up et AND mph swapping from a 3.73 to a 3.50 gear. Gear doesnt always = faster.

  • suvs, cars, bikes..fuck..this is midnight club in real life!

  • @coty734 turbo cars like tall gears. I probly would have went with a 3.08, turbos like load,+ you keep it in the power band longer with a tall gear on a turbo car, the power band is very broad unlike an N/A car.

  • @slackerm1 I agree. I've got a 2002 WRX with 3.9 effective final drive. Having driven STi's with 3.9 final drive and a 6th gear that tops out exactly the same as 5th gear in the WRX, I can say that I'd much rather have longer gears in a turbo car. As you put more power through it, you want longer gearing. The only time you would want shorter gearing would be for a really peaky turbo, or AutoX. BTW, nice video, great quality. :D

  • @slackerm1 if the mustang was a 5 speed he would have got BLOWN AWAY
